Morgan Stanley hire to drive infrastructure team at Greenhill

Greenhill & Co. has hired from Morgan Stanley to start infrastructure investment banking for the Americas just a month after rival boutique Evercore Partners said it would launch a transportation and infrastructure practice—all in time for the Obama administration's increased spending in these areas.

Greenhill said in a statement that Robert Collins will join the firm as a managing director in Chicago office to lead the advisory effort for the infrastructure sector in the Americas.
