Morgan Stanley has promoted Piers de Montfort and Peter Stott to become co-heads of UK investment banking.

De Montfort was head of UK mergers and acquisitions, while Stott was head of UK coverage. The pair have been Morgan Stanley's two senior UK bankers for the last seven years, but the changes establish their roles more formally.
