Morgan Stanley has revealed its latest annual batch of managing directors from across its businesses. The 210-strong contingent included a slightly higher proportion of women than last year's list, though the overall number of new MDs was 9.5% less than in 2010.

Female staff accounted for 17.6% of this year's crop of MDs, compared with 16.4% a year ago, when 232 staff were named managing directors.
