Morgan Stanley has quietly closed its Paris multilateral trading facility — a sign that the bank's Brexit worst-case hedging may have been too extreme.

The bank closed the MTF — an alternative trading platform that operates under Europe's MiFID II legal framework — in September, according to a person familiar with the matter.
