Morgan Stanley shifts senior London dealmaker to Frankfurt for new role

The move reflects a broader trend of people moves to the continent because of Brexit

Morgan Stanley has shifted a senior dealmaker to Frankfurt to head up capital markets for its subsidiary in Germany, as large investment banks continue to bolster their ranks on the continent in the wake of Brexit.

Martin Luehrs, who was most recently co-head of leveraged finance for Europe, the Middle East and Africa, will become head of global capital markets at Morgan Stanley Europe SE, the bank’s Frankfurt-based subsidiary. A Morgan Stanley spokesman confirmed the appointment.
