Marilyn Booker says she was sacked by the bank after her plan to assist BAME employees was rejected

Morgan Stanley is facing a lawsuit from its former global head of diversity, who alleges “systemic racial discrimination” against African-Americans at the company, Bloomberg reports.

Marilyn Booker, Morgan Stanley’s diversity chief for 16 years until 2011, charges that “White male-centric leadership” fired her in December 2019 after refusing to implement her plan to counter racial bias at the bank, according to the publication.
