Morgan Stanley's global head of technology quits

Dhiren Shah, Morgan Stanley's global head of technology investment banking, is leaving the firm to join Greenhill, the boutique investment bank, as managing director based in New York. The bank's deadline for signing new employment contracts with key staff passed on Wednesday.

Shah has spent 17 years at Morgan Stanley and founded its European technology banking practice 10 years ago. He was made global head of technology investment banking in 2000.
