Most of FTSE 100 ignore environment

Nearly two-thirds of FTSE 100 companies are failing to consider biodiversity as a risk factor, according to a report by Isis Asset Management.

The report explains that biodiversity concerns the economic value to business of sustaining ecosystems. Examples include soil erosion and sustaining forests, where ecological damage imposes severe economic costs.
