Michel Serieyssol, managing director and head of European prime brokerage services at Bear Stearns, is joining Morgan Stanley Capital International (MSCI) as global head of the hedge fund index business.

MSCI, part of Morgan Stanley Dean Witter, is known for its global equity indices and benchmark-related products and services but does not currently offfer a hedge fund index.
