Morgan Stanley Capital International (MSCI) will decide by the end of the year whether to follow rival Stoxx and FTSE International in reconstructing its indices.

Earlier this month Stoxx and FTSE said that they would be recalculating their family of indices from September to more accurately demonstrate the number of shares available to investors, also known as free float.
