How much confidence do you have in public press statements from the leaders of Europe's main commercial banks? If you give them a score of even five out of 10, you are probably a very kind person who should have been a missionary.

My own personal favourite was Deutsche Bank's Rolf Breuer, who was always slightly hazy with numbers and who could be relied upon to shoot himself in both feet during the question and answer period.
