Nasdaq OMX extends contract of chief executive

Nasdaq OMX has extended the contract of chief executive Bob Greifeld by five years, according to SEC filings. According to the filings, the contract provides for a base salary of no less than $1m and bonuses of not less than $2m based on the achievement of performance goals. Greifeld has been chief executive since 2003, and last signed a contract extension in 2007.
