The Independent Research Network has signed the first client contract for the paid-for research joint venture between Nasdaq and Reuters.

The group also announced that it has signed contracts with 30 research providers of sell-side institutions and independent firms. The research providers cover virtually every sector. The names of the clients and research providers were not available.
