Nasdaq strengthens sales force in New York

Nasdaq has further strengthened its sales focus with two senior appointments in New York. Janet Lewis will develop business worldwide as a vice president and Jeffrey H. Singer will be responsible for maintaining market position on the US east coast. Both report to Bruce Aust, executive vice president of the electronic stock market's corporate client group.

Lewis joins from SunGard Business Integration, where she was managing director of the Amercias region. Prior to SunGard, Lewis worked at Dovetail Systems, where she was senior vice president and director of sales. In her new role she will also be responsible for Nasdaq's client relationship management.
