Nest appoints Schroders for £1.5bn private equity push

The UK’s largest workplace pension scheme has appointed Schroders to spearhead its push into private equity.

The National Employment Savings Trust (Nest) has become one of the first UK defined contribution schemes to invest directly into private equity, pledging to deploy at least £1.5bn into the asset class by 2025.
