A group of leading European business incubators have clubbed together to form a pan-European incubator association, called BIA Europe.

The new organisation will attempt to provide a forum for the growing number of incubators in the region. The word incubator has become a buzzword synonymous with investors in the new economy. Incubators are basically early-stage investors in start-up technology businesses which nurse the company from creation to funding and flotation on the stock market.
