Henderson Global Investors, the UK fund management operation of AMP, has appointed Giorgio Giovannini as head of its Italian office.

Giovannini joined Henderson from Banca Popolare di Abbiategrasso in 2000, as director of Italian operations. In his new role, he will be responsible for the development and coordination of all Henderson activities in the Italian market, including asset management, property and private equity.
