New construction activity in the Square Mile has plunged by 60% as the City remains a ghost town with most people still working remotely under England's second nationwide lockdown.

According to a new report by consulting and audit firm Deloitte, construction activity has fallen to 1.2 million square feet across 10 schemes, in comparison to 2.8 million square feet across 16 schemes in the previous survey carried out in May this year.
