More than 20 companies are ready to join the Milan stock market in its new segment, the Italian exchange revealed on Friday.

Star, as the new component is known, will be set up for medium-sized enterprises with less than €800m ($734.25m) capitalisation. At the moment 146 listed companies qualify to join it.
