News in brief: CSFB adds advanced trading

Credit Suisse First Boston is to offer its clients advanced execution services following a deal with Trading Screen, a New York-based trading systems specialist. The bank will add its algorithmic trading capacity to Trading Screen's mix of traditional asset management and hedge fund clients.

CSFB's trading strategies were developed by its in-house quantitative analysts and traders, and are designed to make orders meet different execution benchmarks or follow particular trading styles. Trading Screen links institutional investors and brokers together for trading, clearing and prime brokerage.
