Denton Wilde Sapte, the law firm, has hired Farmida Bi as a partner from rival Cleary, Gottlieb, Steen & Hamilton, to develop its capital markets division which includes both equity and debt.
She has previous experience within the energy and utility markets, as well as in the Russian, African and Middle Eastern regions. Bi said: "Denton Wilde Sapte is recognised as a leader in the emerging markets sector. I was particularly attracted to the firm by the strength of the whole banking and finance department."
