News in brief: Hymans Robertson poaches from rival Towers Perrin

Hymans Robertson has hired Steve Power from rival Towers Perrin as business development manager in London.

Power was a business development consultant at Towers Perrin and previously held sales and marketing roles with a large number of multinational organisations, focusing on employee benefit issues. The actuarial consultancy has also appointed four new partners. Bob Blows, head of client services, has been with the Hymans Robertson since 1996. Adrian Green, who manages the employee benefits team in the Midlands, together with Brendan Mooney, practice manager, and Mike Wilkinson, who only joined the firm a few months ago to develop its life practice, have also been named partners.
