News in brief: Kane quits Old Mutual Asset Managers

Graham Kane has left Old Mutual Asset Managers as head of UK business development, to join another business.

Old Mutual is not replacing him, for the time being, but does expect to announce further appointments in both sales and marketing shortly. His departure was amicable, the firm said. Old Mutual Asset Managers runs £4bn (€6.3bn) in the UK, of which an estimated £500m is from UK pension funds. Most of the remainder was sold through retail intermediaries.
