News in brief: Meyer takes on private equity role at JPMorgan in Paris

Eric Meyer, managing director at JPMorgan in France, is now responsible for JPMorgan's Paris-based private equity clients.

He will provide services such as debt financing, equity underwriting and financial advisory services to French private equity clients, expanding his existing responsibilities to corporate clients. The position was previously held by Georges Van Erck, who is relocating to London. Meyer reports to the head of investment banking in France.
