Royal Bank Development Capital (RBDC), part of the Royal Bank of Scotland private equity group targeting small deals from £2m (€3.3m) to £25m, has hired Tony Dean for its Manchester team.
Dean has worked for RBS since 1990, most recently as a senior manager in the firm's corporate development team in Manchester, providing senior debt in support of leveraged buy-out, buy-in and acquisition deals. Andy Gregory, investment director at RBDC, said: "Tony has considerable knowledge of the North West market and his appointment is a significant plus in our aim of developing our deal flow throughout the North."
