NewSmith Asset Management, the investment management arm of corporate finance boutique NewSmith Capital Partners, has hired Sadiq Currimbhoy from Merrill Lynch as a partner.

Currimbhoy, who has over 10 years' experience as a macro and investment strategist in Hong Kong, New York and London, will work as a global strategist, advising on macro investment strategies.
