Newton Investment Management has hired a former Deutsche Asset Management marketer Mark Scott to head its UK institutional marketing effort.

Scott was with DeAM for nearly two years, and has spent the past 18 months out of the market. Prior to DeAM he worked at Putnam Investments for three years. Scott also spent 11 years with Watson Wyatt.
