Lawson exits Deutsche Bank

Nick Lawson, managing director and head of macro at Deutsche Bank, has left the lender after more than 17 years. He is joining hedge fund Arrowgrass Capital Partners, which manages just over $5 billion worth of assets, as head of strategic capital solutions.

In an interview with WSJ City, Lawson, whose official job title was head of macro, event strategies and synthetic distribution, said he left Deutsche Bank on November 9 and is due to start at Arrowgrass in February. He will continue to be based in London.
