Cinven Group, BC Partners, Apollo Management and specialist telecoms and technology buy-out house Silver Lake have emerged as members of a consortium planning to bid for TDC, the Danish national telecoms carrier.

The Wall Street Journal reports that The Blackstone Group, Permira Advisors, Apax Partners, Providence Equity Partners and Kohlberg Kravis Roberts have also formed a consortium which has already formally submitted a bid, thought to value the company at approximately $10bn (€8.1bn).
