NMC Health expects to enter administration

The beleaguered healthcare company was the subject of an FCA probe in February

Troubled hospitals operator NMC Health announced it expects to go into administration, just 24 hours ahead of a court hearing on the matter.

In a statement to the market on 8 April, the company said it had to tried but failed to secure the support of its lenders, after Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank — one of its largest lenders — applied to the UK’s High Court to appoint administrators to the troubled company on 5 April.
