Nomura appoints head of FIG

Nomura, the Japanese investment bank, has made its latest senior European hire with the appointment of Fabio Massimo Genovese, a former managing director in financial institutions investment banking at UBS, as head of its FIG group.

Genovese left UBS in June according to the UK's Financial Services Authority. He worked at UBS in London and Zurich for 10 years following eight years at JP Morgan.
