Nomura has added three people to its prime finance business in the US, at a time of high industry-wide churn of staff in a sector where bulge-bracket banks have been paring back and smaller entrants are trying to take advantage.
Nomura has hired former Goldman Sachs banker Ryan Donaldson as an executive director responsible for hedge fund financing, while Walt Kingsbery, who was previously at ED&F Man, has also joined as a vice-president to focus on special situations.
