Nomura committed to London despite Frankfurt outpost

The non-executive chairman of Nomura has stressed the Japanese bank's commitment to London, two weeks after it announced plans to set up an operation in Frankfurt ahead of Brexit.

David Godfrey, speaking at TheCityUK's annual conference in London today, said Nomura was working to secure approval from German regulators to establish a new subsidiary in Frankfurt.
