Nomura joins FIG hiring spree

Japanese bank appoints former Bear Stearns veteran to its financial institutions group as it continues to build its investment banking business in the Americas

Nomura has bolstered its financial institutions group for the Americas with two new hires as the Japanese bank continues to build out its US investment banking business.

James Kern has joined Nomura from JP Morgan in the newly created role of head of global finance FIG and specialty finance investment banking for the Americas.
