Northern Trust, the Chicago-based financial services group, is expanding further into Europe with the opening of a new office in Amsterdam.

Paul Cutts has been named managing director of the new office and will re-locate from London where he had been managing the asset servicing group's relationship management team for clients in the Netherlands.
