Northern Trust Global Investments Limited, the non-US funds arm of the Chicago-based bank, is hunting for a new chief executive following the resignation of the head of the division just eight months after he was appointed.

William Huffman, chief executive of Northern Trust Global Investments Limited and chairman, president and chief executive of the manager of managers unit Northern Trust Global Advisors, has resigned citing personal reasons.
