The head of programme management at Northern Trust Global Advisors, the London-based unit of US bank Northern Trust that choses managers for the company's funds, has left to become chief investment officer at a multi-manager.

Michelle McGrade has left the company to join multi-manager Investment Solutions as its UK chief investment officer, a source familiar with the matter said.
