Norwegian Petroleum fund hands out seven equity mandates

The €116bn ($140bn) Norwegian Petroleum fund, one of the world's largest pension plans, has awarded seven equity mandates after posting second-quarter returns of -0.15% against its benchmark.

The managers will run up to €3.5bn in assets transferred by the Ministry of Finance to the fund's international equity and fixed-income portfolios during the quarter.
