NYSE and NASD publish IPO recommendations

The New York Stock Exchange and the US National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD) have made 20 recommendations to improve the process of allocating shares in initial public offerings.

The Securities and Exchange Commission, the US regulator, asked NYSE and NASD to set up the IPO advisory committee last October to restore confidence in the IPO process ,after Wall Street banks were accused of unfairly allocating shares and distorting pricing.
