Oaktree Capital, an investment management firm focused on alternative markets, has named Marna Whittington to its board of directors and audit committee. Whittington was previously chief executive of Allianz Global Investors Capital from 2001 until her retirement in January 2012, and was chief operating officer of parent company Allianz Global Investors from 2002 to 2011.
