Och-Ziff in crisis after clash between founder and protégé

OchZiff Capital Management founder Daniel Och and his protégé James Levin are embroiled in a battle for the future of one of New York's biggest investment firms, write Gregory Zuckerman and Rob Copeland for The Wall Street Journal.

Levin was in line to take over as chief executive of the $33bn hedge fund manager, having been awarded nearly $300m in cash and stock elevated to co-chief investment officer.
