As debate continues to rage over the cost of underwriting rights offerings, all sides wait with baited breath for the results of an Office of Fair Trading study on the subject. They are going to have to wait a little longer.

The watchdog had been due to issue an update on its progress before the end of the year, but it has now confirmed that it will not publish its findings until late January.
