OMX, the exchange group that owns seven Nordic and Baltic stock exchanges, has made an offer to buy the Ljubljana Stock Exchange, Slovenia's main market, for €4.2m ($5.5m).

The Group contacted the exchange's management and shareholders to communicate the terms of the offer yesterday.
