Only one US fund was upgraded to triple-A status by Standard & Poor's Fund Research, the international fund rating agency said in its latest report on the US market.

S&P upgraded Deutsche Asset Management's smaller companies offering, the Global Spectrum Funds American Micro-Cap Fund, one band to triple A, citing a well resourced management team with three experienced sector managers and six analysts.
