The future of OpenAI was in jeopardy on 20 November as the vast majority of employees threatened to quit if the board didn’t resign and restore to power CEO Sam Altman.

Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella said late 19 November that it was hiring Altman and OpenAI’s former president Greg Brockman, who resigned in protest after Altman was ousted. It added that it was opening its doors to more joining from the company behind viral chatbot ChatGPT.
