Orange shareholders threaten legal action against regulator

A French shareholder rights group is threatening to take the Conseil des Marchés Financiers to court if the financial regulator approves France Télécom's plan to squeeze out minority shareholders in its mobile subsidiary Orange.

The move by Association pour la Défense des Actionnaires Minoritaires (Adam), could delay the closing of France Telecom's offer by several months during the appeal process.
