Page quits Tokai to start Eriswell

The head of the bank's European equity trading is creating an arbitrage hedge fund

Mark Page has quit as head of Tokai Bank Europe's equity trading division, along with the rest of his team, to start a hedge fund business.

His new company, called Eriswell Capital, will set out to take advantage of multi-strategy arbitrage opportunities. It hopes to receive regulatory approval to start trading in October. Page, born of an Irish father and Indian mother, graduated in chemistry from Trinity College, Dublin in 1983.
