Paris-based buyout firm PAI Partners has agreed to acquire a Dutch holiday park business, a deal that comes after a year in which the number of private equity investments above €100 million reached an eight-year high in the Netherlands.

PAI will buy Roompot Vakanties from Benelux-based private equity house Gilde Buy Out Partners, according to a statement on August 11. Financial details of the transaction were not disclosed. A person familiar with the matter said the enterprise value was around €500 million.
