Pali Capital, a broker-dealer started in 1995 with flagship offices in New York and London, has added James Yanello as managing director and senior utilities strategist, covering natural gas, electricity and coal.

Yanello will join Pali's energy equities team in New York, which includes Kevin Brooks, managing director of sales and trading, and Jonathan Lefebvre, a sales trader. All three report to Bradley Reifler, founder and chief executive of Pali Capital.
