Panmure Gordon hires consumer banking chief

Oliver Cardigan rejoins City bank after two decades' absence, adding to a string of recent hires

Panmure Gordon has appointed a senior executive to lead its consumer banking division, adding to a string of recent hires as the stockbroker expands its business under new owners.

Oliver Cardigan will join as a managing director and head of consumer banking. He rejoins Panmure after a two decades-long break, during which he worked at Numis for 12 years in a variety of mergers and acquisitions and equity capital markets roles. He also previously worked at Rothschild.
